- Peace - A big one for Alexander. He hates war and though he will fight if necessary, the diplomatic approach is always best.
- Justice - Finding equality and justice for the downtrodden has been Alexander’s goal his entire long life.

- Evil - Obviously goes without saying, but Alexander greatly dislikes evil and all things associated.
- Gods - Due to his past, he greatly dislikes gods and demigods just for the power they wield; while they haven’t had many problems with their mortal forms, he is still weary.
Fears:
- Living Forever - The only real fear Alexander has is that his curse will never end and he will live forever, never reuniting with his wife in the afterlife. This is his guiding passion in life, and the reason he throws himself in battle, even against creatures he can’t hope to win, in the vain hope that they may deal the killing blow that ends his life.[/li

Powers and Abilities: Immortality: Alexander was one of the first True Gifted to exist, and as a result has one of the most powerful abilities known, at least in it’s utility. Alexander cannot die, in any way, shape, or form. Now, he can still be defeated, he’s not invulnerable; he just doesn’t stay dead. Any killing blow delivered to him in an honorable death - one with his blade in hand - will age him by a year; any dishonorable death will decrease his age by ten years. This is not a healing factor; if he is not killed, any injuries he received will be permanent. If he *is* killed, however, his body will completely heal itself, save for any aging or the opposite may be done.

Artifact Name: The First Blade
Artifact Description: A simple blade, nothing more than a utilitarian piece of metal, it nonetheless gets the job done. A large red stain, as if dipped in blood, covers the blade. The underlying metal is a simple dull grey color, but inlaid into this grey are bright sigils that glow when wielded. The crossguard is a simple cross, and the hilt is typical and leather wrapped. The scabbard is nothing more than a metal and wood tube to which to rest this blade.
Artifact Powers: This blade was the first of kind. Forged from the first iron pulled from the earth, since it’s inception it has been bathed in the blood of a god, fought countless battles, and been praised as a hero's weapon. As a result, it has harnessed power. The First Blade cannot be harmed by any mortal means, be it blade or bow, and additionally can only be wielded by one deemed a hero. Anyone not a hero attempting to wield the blade will find it slip from their grasp, as if the hilt or blade were covered in oil. The First Blade can still easily be harmed by divine energies and, to a lesser extent, magic.

Artifact Description: A crudely hammered silver ring with the symbol of The Holy Order pressed into it.
Artifact Powers: A ring bestowed to the first three Paladin’s of the Holy Order, it has since gained much power in it’s adventures. This ring grants Alexander the ability to manipulate silver, even drawing it from the ground. He has absolute control over this pressure metal. Silver must exist naturally in the world for him to manipulate it and, most importantly, perhaps, it’s just silver; it’s subject to all the weaknesses normal silver has.[/silver]

- Master Swordsman - Having spent the majority of his life in war of some sort, Alexander is one of the world’s best swordsman, having experience in fighting not only humans, but gods, demons, and monsters as well.
