Tuatha De Danann
Pantheon Appearance: Pointed ears, druidic tattoos
Origin: Ireland, bronze age
Pantheon Creation/Formation: The Tuatha De Danann came to be as a result of the goddess Danu. She created them to rule over Ireland for a while, until a fitting mortal replacement came along. They were also sworn to protect Ireland. Because of this they never really formed like some other pantheons, they simply knew they had to protect Ireland. That was until the Danu granted some mortals powers as well and allowed them to join the Tuatha de. After this they had constant power struggles until Brigid came to power. Under her strong leadership she brought peace and stability to the Tuatha De. She has remained in power to this day.
